INDUSTRIAL LUBRICANTS |
|
There are various type of
lubricating Oil and Grease. We are dealing in some
specific lubricants like Hydraulic & circulating
Oil, Industrial Gearbox Oil, Rubber Process Oil,
Heat Transfer Fluids. There are no of brands in
lubricating Oil and Grease and we deal in most
trusted brands like HP, Castrol, IOC, Gulf, Veedol.
We like to put some information about some of Oils
and Grease for reference. |
|
HYDRAULIC CIRCULATING OIL (Anti-wear type)
|
Premium Hydraulic Oils (Anti-wear
Type) Designed for use in circulating
system are made from high viscosity index,
chemically stable base stocks which are further
fortified with antioxidants, anticorrosion, anti
wear and antifoam additives. They meet the
requirements of very high pressure system and also
of systems where high pump speeds are encountered.
Hydraulic Circulating Oil grades
posses the following characteristics:
-
Right viscosity to satisfy the
demands of the Hydraulic pump and the designed
system.
-
high viscosity index to
restrict viscosity changes under operating
conditions.
-
Good film strength and antiwear
properties to minimize wear of pumps, valves,
cylinders, piston etc.
-
Maximum demulsibility to allow
entrained water to settle down.
-
Excellent corrosion resistance
to prevent rusting and corrosion of metal parts.
-
Resistance to foaming to ensure
prompt and efficient functioning.
-
High chemical stability to
ensure long and trouble free service life.
Hydraulic Circulating Oil grades
are recommended for use in hydraulic systems,
enclosed gear boxes, chain drivers, compressors,
vacuum pumps, mining machinery, machine tools,
hydraulic and circulation system and enclosed gear
boxes which do not require EP type lubricants. |
HYDRAULIC CIRCULATING OIL
(Special Purpose Anti-wear Type)
|
Premium Hydraulic Oils (Special
Purpose Anti-wear Type) having outstanding antiwear
properties, oxidation stability and a high FZG
rating. In addition these grades have excellent
resistance to thermal degradation and better
hydraulic stability. These grades are specially
developed for sophisticated hydraulic devices with
hydro mechanical actuators. these grades find
application in systems where oil is used for
extended periods.
Hydraulic Circulating Oil (Special
Purpose Anti-wear Type) grades meet requirement of
DIN 51524 Part 2 specification Denison HF-O and HF-2
Cincinnati Milacron P-68, P-69, P-70 and
IS:11656-1986 specifications and US steel 127 also
passes Vickers Vane pump test.
Hydraulic Circulating Oil (Special
Purpose Anti-wear Type) are premium hydraulic oils
having outstanding anti-wear properties, excellent
oxidation stability and FZG ratings. They are
recommended for sophisticated electro hydraulic or
pneumatically controlled system.
Hydraulic Circulating Oil (Special
Purpose Anti-wear Type) are recommended for use in
screw compressors, vacuum pumps, Mining machinery,
and machine tools where EP types of oils are
required. Hydraulic Circulating Oil (Special Purpose
Anti-wear Type) approved by ELGI Equipments Ltd. for
use in their screw compressors, also approved by
Ingersoll-rand for use in their screw compressors.

HYDRAULIC CIRCULATING OIL
(R & O Type)
|
These are general purpose
hydraulic and circulating oils, blended from solvent
refined Mineral oils and fortified with suitable
additives to impart excellent oxidation and rust
inhabitation properties. Good anti-rust properties
provide the benefit of longer equipment life, low
maintenance cost and reduced down time. Good thermal
and oxidation stability helps in lower deposits,
thus inhibiliting oil thickening and consequent
power saving.
HYDRAULIC CIRCULATING OIL
(Special Purpose Anti-wear Type) grades meet the
requirement of IS:3098-1983(Reaffirmed 1993) and DIN
51524 Part 1 specification (except for low pour
point requirement). It also meets US Steel No. 135 &
Cincinnati Milacron P-38, P-54, P-55 & P-57.
These oils find applications in
the systems where hydraulic fluids of moderate
anti-wear property are required having mild extreme
pressure characteristic. |
INDUSTRIAL GEARBOX
OILS
|
These are premium quality oil
manufactured from high quality base stocks fortified
with extreme pressure additives, antifoam, antirust,
and anti-oxidation agents, thereby they have
excellent oxidation resistance and thermal
stability. These grades contain Phosphorous and
Sulfur as extreme pressure agents. These are
non-corrosive to copper and copper alloys.
These grades meet IS:8406-1993,
USS 224, AGMA standard 250.04, DIN 51 517 part 3,
IPSS 1-09-003-82 and Cincinnati Milacron P-63, P-77,
P-57, P-35. these grades are approved by ABB-ABL
projects for their various equipments. Recommended
by major gear box manufacturers like FMG, Shanti
Gear Box etc.
These oils are recommended for
all heavy duty enclosed gear drives with circulation
or splash lubricating system operating under heavy
or shock load conditions, pain and antifriction
bearing subjected to shock and heavy loads. These
grades give dependable performance for continuous
service at operating temperature up to 110o C.
Industrial Gearbox Oils are also suitable for spray
lubrication system requiring extreme pressure
properties. |
RUBBER PROCESS OILS
|
Rubber Oils can be broadly
classified into three basic groups depending on the
physical arrangement of the carbon atoms namely,
Paraffinics, Napthenics and Aromatics.
All petroleum oils are mixtures
of various hydrocarbon groups and their
classification is arbitrary, and is based on the
predominance of a particular hydro=carbon group.
There are various grade in rubber process Oils and
are described below.
Grade 165: highly paraffinic
medium viscosity type of oil specially developed for
use as plasticizer in the manufacture of EPDM
rubbers. The oil also possesses good resistance to
evaporation loss.
Grade 245:It is a light coloured
paraffininc type of oil and has good colour
stability. It is also has high flash point and good
high temperature properties, but it has low
solvency.
It finds greatest use in butyl
and ethylene propylene rubber. It is recommended to
use for the processing of light coloured rubber
goods such as white walled tyres, shoe soles, toys,
sporting goods, etc.
Grade 255: This is highly
paraffinic type of oil specially developed for
compounding purpose of shoe sole application. The
oil has moderate solvency power with low evaporation
loss.
Grade 541: This napthenic type of
oil and has fairly good color stability with
adequate high temperature properties. Its solvency
is better than Grade 245-255, and is suitable as
general purpose rubber oil for mats, footwear,
molded and extruded goods.
Grade 590: This is napthenic type
of oil, specially developed to meet the requirement
of major tyre manufacturer. The product is used to
make the fabric-coating compound, used in coating
nylon tyre cords of passenger vehicle.
Petroleum Oils are used in
manufacturing of virtually all rubber products such
as tyres, tubes, battery cases, footwear, mats,
hoses etc. They are the keystones from the raw
material stage to the finished products. Rubber oils
are added to the polymer that may have been oil
extended. They perform the following functions.
-
Facilitate mixing operation
-
Reduce compounding time,
power consumption and cost of finished goods.
-
Improve processibility
-
Modify physical properties of
the finished product
Grade 710: This is an aromatic
type of oil and due to the presence of double bonds.
It is the least stable compared to Grade 245 and
541. It is dark in colour and has good solvency
making it compatible with most rubber polymers. It
finds extensive use in the manufacturing of
automobile tyres, belting, battery casesetc. where
color is not an important factor.
Grade 715: It is also an aromatic
process oil with higher viscosity and is
specifically developed for use as an extender oil in
the manufacturing of Styrene Butadiene Rubber. |
